Planting

Through pruning and removal we encounter trees in every stage of their life cycle. We know where they grow best, how big they get, and potential problems you can expect from a given tree. Homeowners can save themselves money if their plants are given a proper start. A tree must have good form, be well suited for the site and be planted properly. An ounce of prevention goes a long way in averting the costs associated with expensive corrective care, numerous chemical sprays or in extreme cases; replacement with a new plant.

We hand pick our customers stock to ensure the selection of quality plants for their home or business. We also deliver our trees or with larger orders oversee their delivery to ensure they are handled with care. At Tomorrows Trees we take the time to remove all wire cages, burlap, twine and tags from our trees to ensure their success in the landscape. We stake, mulch, water and feed our trees to further aid in their establishment. All of our customers receive care instructions for their new trees. We offer warranties for our plants with follow up treatments at key points throughout the growing season.

Pruning

Often a few branches from the right places can remedy an issue someone has with their tree. Pruning can be used to keep shrubs or small trees an appropriate size for their desired location. If an area of lawn or flower garden is too dark, a thinning can sometimes fix this problem. Trimming away from
homes, service wires, swimming pools, and satellite dishes are a few of our more popular requests.

We do not believe in nor practice tree topping. The argument against topping is persuasive and widely accepted by arborists across the world. If a problem with a tree cannot be addressed through trimming we encourage people to remove a tree and plant something more appropriate to the location.

Cabling/Bracing

A beloved tree that is old or otherwise structurally compromised can be made safer with the addition of steel cable or rods. The additional peace of mind they can provide make it easier and safer to keep a tree. Cables are installed in the upper area of the crown. When wind, snow or excessive limb weight puts a tree under load the cables can help take the strain off a weakened area. A good analogy would be a back brace. The brace helps you lift properly to reduce your risk of injury. It doesn't give you super strength or fix an injured back. Trees suffering from excessive limb weight are often trimmed at the time of installation to ensure success of the system.

Insects & Disease Management

Insects and disease are often indicators of one or more cultural imbalances in a tree’s environment. Drought, bad soil, construction damage, and grade change are all manageable causes of disease and insect infestation. How do we do this?

Organic Fertilization: Sometimes rain isn't enough, and the mineral rich top-soil has been screened, compacted, depleted or removed altogether. We pump a blend of emulsified fish and seaweed straight to the roots via a 6" feeding needle. The process will quickly break up compacted soils, increases air and water movement, and enrich the root zone. Several applications at the right time can make all the difference in a struggling plant’s life.

Root Collar Excavation: Established trees are often buried when grade changes are made in the establishment or maintenance of a yard. It doesn’t take very much to begin the slow process of decline. Fortunately, except in extreme cases, the problem can be addressed with a bit of digging or a shallow well.

Tree Removal

Climbing / Rigging; Bucket Truck / Rigging; Crane Removals / Rigging

It is often necessary to have trees removed. Of course, we may offer you an alternative to ensure that your decision is made on as much information as we can provide. Trees are tricky to remove but are even harder to put back up. When the time comes we are more than willing and able to address your tree removal needs. We have a bucket truck for large and/or accessible trees. For our customers with trees in hard to reach places or for those who do not want trucks on their lawn, we can climb them. During a typical tree removal we use ropes to safely bring these giants down, one piece at a time.
